The founder of Timberland, Nathan Swartz, started to create shoes in 1918 in Boston (Massachusetts) as an apprentice shoemaker. In 1955, he decided to buy the Abington Shoe Company. He created the injection-molding waterproof technology. With this technology, he created the first truly waterproof boots. In 1973, The Timberland brand was born with the model “The original Yellow Boot”.

The Premium 6 inch model of Timberland is an icon. This boot had so much success that it became a fashion icon. Its Premium Waterproof leather and PrimaLoft insulation keep your feet dry. This model is lined with faux-shearling for warmth.
